Completely Greenfield in nature, you will join a new but expanding team who are focused on High Frequency trading. Exchange/Trading Systems Developer with experience in developing Trading systems for Stock Exchanges and Brokers. You will define, design, develop and rollout exchange connectivity strategic infrastructure to support STP initiatives for Electronic Trading within the highly reputable Bank. Technical skills should include strong C++ development, PERL, RDBMS such as Sybase, Informix and Oracle, Unix (Solaris, HP-UX, Linux), FIX Connectivity, connectivity experience and Equities Trading programmes. The successful candidate must have a solid work history demonstrating experience of delivering and implementing quality software systems, be educated up to Degree level from a Premier University and able to hold their own in a challenging and dynamic work environment. You will need to have excellent people skills as you will be required to liaise with various parties.
