The securities lending market is an evolving market.  Traditionally an operationally intensive OTC market it is beginning to transform with the arrival of AQS, the first electronic, centrally cleared securities lending exchange.  At my client they have always worked towards automating their securities lending business and are leading the push forward in the marketplace. This position is to help them take advantage of these opportunities.  Responsibilities include, analysis on trading and allocation strategies, implementing new and upgrading existing strategies and working with the stock loan desk.   The position will be part coding, part mathematical analysis and part business analysis and support.

Requirements

.    Strong technical skills.  Java and oracle experience preferred.
.    Strong math skills.  Statistics experience preferred.
.    Strong problem solving skills as well as be self-motivated and self-directed
.    Must be able to work independently or as part of a small team
