Position Description:The incumbent would be responsible for creating and influencing the policies and procedures for the new bank holding company's Finance Division. As a result, this individual will have significant interaction and exposure to the Finance Division's Senior Management team and an opportunity to build a policies and procedures program from the ground up.
Skills Required:• Research, gather, document and write uniform policies, procedures related to federal regulatory reporting
• Stay abreast of new or updated regulations and modify the policies accordingly
• Liaise with the corporate librarian to ensure that all policies are tracked and saved in our proprietary database
• Coordinate annual reviews across FCG and ensure that all procedures are up to date and filed accordingly
• Ensure all documents are appropriately tailored to the audiences involved
Skills Desired:• Understanding of banking regulations a plus
• Master's degree in Mass Communication, Publishing, or a related field highly preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, Communications or related field required
• 7 years of business writing experience within the financial sector
• Strong writing skills
• Ability to interact and build relationships with all levels of the organization
• Ability to quickly comprehend new ideas and processes
• Be able to work independently within a team environment
• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize accordingly
• Advanced skill level in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
