Head of Exotic Credit Derivatives Middle Office required to head up team of 6 for leading international Investment Bank in London. Reporting to the Head of Middle Office, your team will provide full operational support to exotics trading team in a highly pressurised environment.

Head of Exotic Credit Derivatives Middle Office required to head up team of 6 for leading international Investment Bank in London. Reporting to the Head of Middle Office, your team will provide full operational support to exotics trading team in a highly pressurised environment.

With a back office based abroad, you will be managing 1 of the three middle office teams currently in place –  the Exotic Credit Derivatives team (other teams indlude Forex and Vanilla Derivatives) The team alongside the Back Office work on bookings for Exotic traders, communicate and build relationships with Front Office and increase relationships with competitors to ensure the bank is performing to an optimum level.

Duties include:

Manager of a 6 person team

-Organize and divide the daily work among the team

-Recruit and ensure change management among the team

-Take part to the daily work (especially ticket processing for the traders)

Operational Manager

-Understand and manage operational risks related to exotic credit derivatives products

-Monitor closely the business in order to take into account new products or new perimeters and their related operational risks

-Finalize and take part to the initiation of Formalized Supervision

Take part to FICC program projects

-Work closely with IT team and define our needs

-Follow up of IT developments and taking part to IT tests

-Change management

Technical expert on new exotic credit derivatives products

-Study with FO new products launching and analyze all impacts on standard business processes.

-Give FO the better way to modelize new product

IN ORDER TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST HAVE ALL OF THE FOLLOWING:

a) Fluency in French

b) Proven Management experience within Derivatives

c) Strong Derivatives product knowledge - ideally exotic Credit Derivatives

THOSE WITHOUT ALL 3 WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.
