SENIOR MONEY MARKET & FIXED INCOME FUNDING SALESPERSON REQUIRED TO EXPAND CURRENT DISTRIBUTION NETWORK AND INCREASE THE GROUPS ACCESS TO LIQUIDITY WITH A VIEW TO FURTHER BUILDING THE SALES TEAM GOING FORWARD.

THE ROLE

-In co-ordination with the Branch's and Head Office Treasuries, to expand current investor base in our money market instruments, especially the London CD Programme, and explore all opportunities to increase the Group's access to liquidity and placement of XYZ's financial instruments. Expansion of investor base should focus both on the London/UK market and other international financial centres. The role will encompass the responsibility for managing directly all existing and potential future relationships. More specifically:
oTo increase direct funding from UK medium/small size financial institutions, local authorities, asset managers and other institutional investors.
oMaximize the delivery of funding opportunities from both existing and new financial institution and institutional investor relationships throughout Europe.
oTo increase direct sales of XYZ's London CDs to above UK and European institutions and other present international counterparties.
oTo explore the potential for developing funding through other short term (e.g. Euro commercial paper) and medium term (e.g. EMTN, fixed income instruments) debt issuance instruments, plain vanilla or structured, with all the above referred types of counterparts.
oDevelop contacts with, and increase funding from new international counterparties, primarily Europe, but with a view to Middle East and other geographical areas to be defined.
oSpecial focus to be given to developing relationships with Central Banks in the targeted regions.
oHelp promote the sale of other XYZ's debt issuance products in co-ordination with other XYZ's business units.

THE INDIVIDUAL:

-Senior member of large/medium size Bank Money Market/Fixed Income Funding Sales team, with strong international banking background

-Thorough knowledge and exposure to all money market instruments and MTN.

-Exposure to issuance of other fixed income debt instruments, plain vanilla and structured

-Familiarity with currency arbitrage techniques and short term interest rate derivatives

-Superior communication and relationship building skills

-Demonstrate pro-active business development

-Own active and comprehensive client list

-10 years plus experience

-Academic qualifications consistent with job requirements

-Language ability a plus
