Our client, a leader within the banking services sector, is looking to make an addition to its dynamic team through the role of Manager, Global Settlements.

The Manager, Global Settlements will effectively maintain process, operations and management controls within specialized securities settlements for Domestic and Foreign markets by strategic planning, implementation and development of staff.

Requirements:

As a strong candidate to join this dynamic team in the capacity of Manager, Global Settlements you bring forward an in-depth knowledge of Securities Operations, especially for procedures, products and functions relative to Global Settlements. You have demonstrated an excellent understanding of Anvil, DTC, Clearstream, FED, BoNY, CDS and Euroclear and have knowledge of securities in foreign countries.

A strong leader, you have experience with large team management and effective team building. You have established a great understanding of Settlement Risk, Foreign Exchange Risk, Interest Rate Risk and Payment Risk and have proven the adaptability to manage within a rapidly changing environment regarding policies, procedures, automation and clients needs.

Preference will be given to those candidates with 2+ years of experience managing or training a settlements team and who have demonstrated strong organization and analytical skills with ability to work in a high volume environment. 

Please note: The start time is 7:00 am given that the incumbent will be dealing with European Markets. Overtime will be required during peak periods.
