This is a unique opportunity to work with a high profile loan Sales team within the bank's distribution platform.

The team, comprises of 6 Sales based in London, Paris and Madrid, is responsible for selling structured finance loans ( Real Estate, Project Finance Shipping, Commodities ) as well as Flow and Acquisition Finance in western Europe and emerging markets to a wide group of international investors (banks and funds)  The intern will report to the manager who heads up the team

Main responsibilities:

Support sales on new deal syndication:
building liquidity analysis
coordinating status reports
management of interlinks access
follow up with investors on invitation letters

Supporting the investor Q&A process on new deals (coordinating answers to financial, structure and legal clarifications):
interaction with Middle Office on closing - funding dates, signing of transfer docs etc

Support sales in admin aspects of loan secondary trading Coordinating KYC and other account set-up requirements for new investors Responsible for maintaining comparables and pricing databases and updating market slides data Marketing Support tasks: League table monitoring, database on investor hit list and feedback

CANDIDATE PROFILE


Education
• Master in finance, engineering or business studies

Past experience
• Experience within Financial Institutions gained through previous internships / work experience is highly desirable.

Languages
• Fluent English
• Second language a plus

Technical skills
• Proven analytical, computer and interpersonal skills as well as exceptional writing, communication and presentation skills are required.

• It will involve working in a fast paced and demanding environment. It requires an individual who has a strong interest and understanding of financial markets.
