Our client is a leading Global Investment Bank, and due to continued growth in Singapore, an excellent opportunity has risen for a Senior Vice President to join the Bank and lead a team of 50 staff within the Brokerage Operations Department. This department services a diverse range of global clients across different functional areas. 

Responsibilities:

• Supervise day to day functions of the Department in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreement
  • Ensure that the team maintains delivery standards and achieve internal client satisfaction
• In conjunction with Global Head, deliver key components of a Transformation Program :
  • Ongoing deployment of functions into Singapore
  • Process standardisation, policies and procedure design
  • Optimisation and Efficiency
• Govern Controls and Performance Management
  • Ensure processes comply with stipulated Operations Risk Management policies and framework.
  • Liaise with Internal, External Audit and Regulators

It is essential that you can demonstrate strong people management skills with at least five years supervisory experience. You will have outstanding knowledge of operational procedures and processes in relation to brokerage, clearing and exchange functions and will have worked for at least 7 years in a similar function. You will possess strong background in expense management, accounting or operations and have a good grasp of SOX requirements and client money regulations.

Ideally, you will also possess the following requirements:  

• Graduate or Qualified Accountant.
• Six sigma or trained in similar quality framework.
• Change Management experience in and knowledge of Operational Excellence or similar change management methodology.
