The incumbent will report to the Chief Operating Officer (Clients & Markets) and will provide technical skills and expertise support in the areas of strategic initiatives, account management, research, competitive intelligence, proposal development, client communications, marketing and other business development and marketing initiatives.
The incumbent will also be responsible for helping to build and promote the concept of account management across the Partnership. This involves support and advice in managing process tools, training and other marketing-related activities.
Specifically, we require the individual to be involved in:
• Strategic initiatives of the Partnership
• Account management: Support on strategic account planning and management
• Business support: Proposal support, CRM support, research, client communications, competitive intelligence, intranet support
• Marketing: Support other firm wide marketing initiatives where necessary
The ideal candidate should possess:
• A University degree
• Self-motivated with requisite personal drive and energy
• At least 8 years experience in business development, marketing and/or communications
• Experience in dealing with internal clients at senior management level
• Demonstrable evidence of the ability to forge and sustain business/client relationships
• Experience in writing presentations and performing in pitch/proposal situations
• Proficient in research tools for analysis and a general understanding of database technology
• Industry-related knowledge would be an advantage
