Our client, a top hedge fund/private equity firm, is seeking candidates to help them recruit talent for openings in all areas of the organization: front office (portfolio managers, traders, investment analysts, etc.), quants and IT professionals, and support areas (legal, accounting, compliance, HR, etc.). Although some recruiting – or similar – experience is preferred, the key qualifications for the job are an exceptionally strong academic record (top schools, top grades, any specialty and any degree level: bachelor’s, master’s or PhD), strong analytical abilities, outstanding communications skills and attention to detail. Prior business experience is not required but, for some specialties, training and experience can be helpful. Current members of the group include former academics, writers and artists as well as former lawyers and accountants.
