The Intermediary Investor Business Marketing group manages websites, online tools, and databases aimed to provide marketing, information, and decision support for iShares ETFs and iPath ETNs. The Web Tools & Data Analyst will manage day-to-day production activities for these websites, tools, and data.

Job Responsibilities

Data Management
- Act as first point of contact for BGI employees for questions and issues pertaining to data presented on global websites and online tools
- Interact with external vendors (e.g. market data providers) and internal partners (e.g. BGI technology organization) as necessary to resolve issues
- Manage business process documentation, operational manuals, and escalation contact lists
- Contribute to and manage production processes including: Fund launches, fund fact sheet production, and marketing material production

Analysis and Reporting
- Manage scheduled and ad hoc data audits to ensure consistent and correct data across published materials, websites, and financial modeling tools
- Supply BGI employees with reporting and data analysis for marketing collateral and sales presentations

Website Testing
- Participate in testing and validation as new web pages and online tools are launched

Projects
- Participate in, support, and lead projects to acquire new financial data and improve data processes
 

Qualifications

- BA/BS required
- 2+ years of prior work experience, preferably in a related field
- Understanding of and experience with financial and market data
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
- Team player, motivated and positive attitude
- Organized, accurate, and detail-oriented
- Strong working knowledge of spreadsheets (MS Excel)
- Knowledge and understanding of investment industry products and concepts (exchange traded funds, modern portfolio theory, risk and return measurement, correlation)
- Familiarity with databases and internet technologies
