The key objective of this position is the project management of multiple, on-going business and organization improvement projects. Responsibilities include: planning, scheduling, and coordination of project tasks and resources; cost/schedule status reporting, client/stakeholder coordination and interaction; provide support for research activities and ensuring timely delivery of agreed goals and targets
Key Responsibilities:
Function as project manager to ensure timely delivery of agreed goals and targets for projects.
- Support and coordinate project team members, stakeholders and external parties from the kick-off to the end of the project.
- Develop detailed project plans, design work breakdown structures, establish resource & budget allocation/tracking plans; prepare and present project status reports
- Schedule, coordinate and communicate requirements to facilitate the prioritization of tasks geared towards accomplishing project objectives.
- Function as project leader as and when required and assist project teams in resolving potential problems and other project issues.
- Contribute innovative and creative solutions that improve project efficiency and qualitative results.
Lead and direct research activities required for the project.
- Provide support to research activities that include information review, data collection & analysis and statistical calculations.
- Lead efforts in developing business models or concepts that is supported by research findings.
Key Requirements:
- 5 to 7 years of work experience in the financial services industry or consulting services knowledge and a related university degree.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong communicator who is able to articulate intentions to help others understand the company’s position.
- A self-starter who is energetic and has strong teaming abilities and effective organizing capabilities
- Effective multi-tasking and prioritization skills
- Ability to take a consultative approach and influence executive decision making
