Leading global investment bank is seeking a Senior Compensation Accountant to join their expanding Finance Team. Reporting to the Head of Compensation Accounting, you will responsible for reporting wage information and processing tax payments to domestic and international tax authorities.

Leading global investment bank is seeking a Senior Compensation Accountant to join their expanding Finance Team. Reporting to the Head of Compensation Accounting, you will form a key part of the team, which is responsible for reporting wage information and processing tax payments to domestic and international tax authorities.

 

Key responsibilities will include the following:

• Preparation and processing tax reports of compensation information for employees in Asia-Ex Japan locations.

• Prepare compensation report for both external and internal authorities.

• Work closely with global counterparts such as Human Capital Management, Tax, Treasury and Management Reporting.

• Participate in global projects and ad-hoc request.

• Prepare payment and accounting of all salary, bonus to employees of the firm worldwide.

• Involve in new pay entity set up and implementing tax effectiveness programs

• Reconcile and substantiate monthly entries to general ledger accounts

The ideal candidate will have the following qualities and experience:

• Minimum of 5-7 years experience in income tax background with knowledge of HK and US tax  
• Candidate should have excellent English and interpersonal skills
• Candidate should also have excellent teamwork, analytical skill and communication skills
• Mandarin speaking would be an advantage
