A 1+ billion AUM investment advisor located in Boston is seeking an Operations Associate

The ideal candidate has the following characteristics:

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-Very organized, process-oriented individual who is a stickler for accuracy and attention to detail

-Proficient with all Microsoft products - Excel, Word, Powerpoint and a quick learner with new software applications

-Must be highly ethical, reliable and trustworthy

-Interest in gaining knowledge about investment management

-Bachelor’s degree required with excellent finance or math skills

Responsibilities:

-Support trading and rebalancing of client portfolios

oInvest new accounts on a daily basis – trade equities, fixed income and mutual funds

-Daily portfolio reconciliation between in-house system and custodians

-Assist in updating the company website on a quarterly basis and updating client portfolio information daily

-Update portfolio management software to reflect new account information

-Maintain composites to comply with GIPS certification and assist with quarterly data sent to third party verifier

-Provide support for marketing efforts and client communication and reporting

oFinancial modeling and analysis of client portfolio holdings
