A team of six people based in Paris, the Marketing Intelligence Unit works as a team of internal consultants. The team gathers and analyses information and data to support in the decision-making process with regard to sales and business strategy and product development. It works on projects such as client segmentation, market sizing and product positioning by country or segment and strategic analyses.
Reporting to a Senior Marketing Intelligence Analyst, your main responsibilities will be the following:
- Assist the team in his day to day activities
- Work on client segmentation
- Detection of business development opportunities for specific client segments
- Support the product development and positioning initiatives
- Conduct studies on the AXA-IM market share and positioning, competitors’ trends, competitors’ profiles, RFP tracking and strategic country market studies.
What sort of profile are we looking for:
- Currently studying a master’s degree in Business school/ University.
- Previous related experience in the asset management industry or in the financial industry would be a plus.
- Good knowledge of financial markets and a knowledge of asset management would be a plus
- Fluency in English.
- An inquiring and analytical mind
- Good communication skills orally and in writing, as well as ability in writing clear, precise and accurate reports
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Open-minded and dynamic with a capability to communicate well with the rest of the firm, both in Paris and internationally
- Team player
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint in particular
