This is a genuinely rare opportunity to work in Private Equity as a legal and risk professional. Our client is generally acknowledged as being one of the leading mid-market Private Equity funds in the UK. It is looking to appoint a legal and risk associate and you’ll be working closely with the head of this team. The role is varied and you’ll enjoy using the skills you’ve picked up in your career to date.

You’ll understand legal matters and risk management as you’ll come from a related industry as a para-legal, lawyer or risk manager. You’ll take responsibility for various tasks and this will include; investor reporting, regulation and compliance, assisting with contract reviews and drafting, risk management, legal documentation management, company secretarial work, best practice implementation and monitoring, and ad-hoc assistance with its portfolio. This role doesn’t come available very often in Private Equity and offers huge career opportunities in the industry.

You will have:

• Highly relevant experience from having worked as a; solicitor, para-legal, or risk manager within the financial services/consulting industry
• Genuine enthusiasm for law and risk management
• The desire to work in Private Equity
• Compensation will be in line with market expectations, and will include a bonus.
