For one of our clients, we are looking for a:

Stock Accountant

Job Description:

You will control current inventory assets by periodically accounting closing values and treatment of several accounting postings for period and year-end closing

Principal Accountabilities

• To post and follow up all deliveries by our factories.

• To verify the price of the received goods on the invoices with the committed prices during the Plan.

• To perform periodical and year-end closing of inventory in values.

• To take necessary actions towards sister units in case of differences.

• To control the final stock in values via a periodic audit.

• To analyse the general ledger accounts related to the stock.

• To perform statistical demands (intrastat).

• To check, post and pay all expense sheets. Including corporate cards from local and international people located in Brussels.

• To create and post “service invoices” to intercompanies and local customers/suppliers.

• To check intercompany balances and solve inbalances.

• To prepare intercompany payment.

Your Profile:

• Strong financial / accounting knowledge

• 2 years relevant experience in general accounting

• Strong analytical skills

• Starting function in similar environment is a plus

• Fluency in French, Dutch and English is a prerequisite

The ideal candidate should be a good problem-solver. He/She should be a good listener, stress-resistant and having good communication skills. The ideal candidate is able to deal autonomously with ambiguity and have business acumen. He/She should have a learning agility and an important drive for results.
