Our client is an international financial services company that offers research, asset management, corporate finance, and provides a vast array of products to individuals, corporations and institutional investors. With the expansion within their investment banking team, they are committed to attract individual with outstanding qualifications to join their team in Hong Kong.
With a strong focus in the Greater China region, you will participate in corporate finance projects on execution of IPOs, financial advisory, M&A and takeover related transactions, as well as assist in assessing potential deals and developing new business. Main duties of the role include: conduct due diligence reviews and draft information memorandums; develop financial models, prepare written proposals and pitch-books; coordinate with legal counsels, professional accountants and regulators; participate in deal negotiation processes; ascertain financial and operational synergy, performed valuation and analyses on deal structure, terms and pricing, and review financial forecasts.
A successful candidate will be a degree holder in Finance, Accounting or related subjects with at least 5 years of experience in corporate finance or relevant audit experience in Big 4. Knowledge in execution of IPOs, M&A and take over transactions is a pre-requisite. Besides, you will be familiar with Stock Exchange and SFC regulations to be qualified for the role. Equity research candidates from top tier firms who want to move into corporate finance would also be considered for the role.
