Our client is a leading brokerage, investment banking and private equity group in the Asia-Pacific Markets. They are recognized as one of the top research, sales and execution houses in Asia. With continuous growth in their organization, they are now looking for a Head of Product Control to join their team in Hong Kong.

Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, the responsibilities of the role include: Independent review of all valuations of trading positions; In charge for the EOD process in the risk systems; Produce daily P&L and Risk reports for trading desks; Create daily disclosure reports for Compliance; Develop risk and P&L framework for new products; Work with Front Operations to ensure the integrity of the static data; Act as the Chair of the Market Risk and Valuation Committee; Accountable for P&L reconciliation with Finance and Accounting; and you will develop close relationship with internal parties.

A successful candidate will be a degree holder and have at least 5 years of experience in Product Control in a major US or European investment bank. You will be experienced in Risk Control areas and in equity products (Cash, ETD and OTC derivatives). Last but not least, you will have solid hands on skills with Excel macros, Access and Sophis.
