Our client, a niche Investment Management firm seek an experienced Product Controller with good exposure to Fixed Income Cash and Derivative products for this broad and challenging, high profile role.

Our client oversees the management of more than £28bn in client assets and has recently recruited from leading Investment Banks, Asset Managers and Hedge Funds and is continually growing whilst offering a fantastic working environment, culture and compensation on a par with the leading Investment Banks and Asset Managers in the market.

The role is for a Senior Product Controller and reports into the Head of Finance and Product Control. Product Control is part of the Finance Department and it's primary role is to ensure the integrity of the Balance Sheet for revenue related accounts. There is a very close relationship with the trading desks and other areas focussing on controls such as risk management and statutory reporting. In addition Product Control is a central point of contact for many issues that affect the company including new product approval, model validation and independent verification of derivative valuations.

The aim of this role is to oversee the validation and maintenance of the Balance Sheet including reconciliation to the front office source systems. The role is very broad role and also involves staff management and mentoring. Applicants must be qualified accountants with an impressive academic background and good, solid product control experience with good exposure to Fixed Income Cash and Derivative Products.
