A leading broker is expanding their successful credit risk team and looking for a talented credit risk analyst with excellent product knowledge.

Main responsibilities :

- Preparation of credit reviews in respect of clients and counterparties for presentation to the Credit Committee, on an annual basis or more frequent as dictated

- Ensuring that all credit requests are completed on a timely basis for bi-monthly Credit Committee meetings. Undertaking annual reviews of clients and counterparties where to extend credit

- Conducting annual review of credit / risk procedures for submission to the FSA, Board and Credit Committee

- Ad hoc reports/duties as deemed necessary by the Director of Credit or the department Manager

- Training and support of Credit Assistant including conducting performance review

- Preparation of Management Information for Credit Committee and other forums

Candidate Skills

The successful candidate will have an excellent background in credit risk counterparty analysis within a securities environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate to develop credit risk skills in a successful organisation with strong strengths in risk. This is a highly exposed role to trading floor.
