Financial Accountant
Duties and Responsibilities
• Monthly reporting of revenue and gross margins
• Financial analysis of revenue, margins and cost of sales
• Direct involvement in the improvement and implementation of new ERP systems
• Financial responsibility for company stock takes
• Represent Accounts Department with Senior Management on all aspects of Revenue reporting
• Reconciliation of various control accounts in the general ledger
• Drive improvements in the internal management reporting and control processes
• Ensure strict adherence to company policies whilst effectively managing cross-functional relationships
• Provide all relevant information for statutory reporting requirements
• Ad hoc reporting and project work as required
• Liaise with external auditors
Knowledge & Abilities
• Ability to work to strict deadlines
• Oracle Financials General Ledger
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong numerical skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple relationships across departments
• Process management and improvement skills
• Excellent people management and influencing skills
• Self motivated, flexible and enthusiastic
• Strong team player
• Finalist / Newly Qualified Accountant
• 4-5 years experience in industry
