Responsibilities
- Report to CEO
- To develop institutional business in Asia-ex Japan. Bring clients and convert leads to business and Identify new potential client leads and ensure sufficient follow up till the deal is concluded.
- In charge of institutional sales and marketing activities in the region ( Asia pacific)
- Ability to bring institutional , HNI clients and Book. Ability to Identify new contacts / prospective clients, and show case the companies existing fund management capabilities and product offerings (India specific long only equity and structured products) and follow up of investment needs of the institutional clients
- Ability to manage a compact sales team to develop the asset management business of the company.
- Ability to work in coordination with product structuring specialist and legal firms to develop, design and offer products to institutional / HNI clients
Requirements
- At least 7 to 10 years of sales experience (selling products to Institutions and HNIs). in South Asian / Asian pacific Fund Houses
- Ability to bring in one or few books will be an added strength.
- Knowledge on the Asian Asset management industries, guidelines and regulations concerning marketing of Funds / Institutional mandates / Pension Funds in Asian markets. Fluent and effective communication in English. Working knowledge of one or more other south east Asian languages would be an added advantage but not the must
- Good interpersonal skill and a team player and an ability to work in a small focused group.
- University graduated and additional qualification in Finance / Investments will be an added advantage.
