Tier-1 Global Bank has an opening in their Technology risk group that ensures that technology risk affecting the Financial-Markets business is adequately managed through internal audit’s strategic planning and audit needs assessment. Position reports to the Head of Merchant Banking Audit. Location : Singapore/Hong Kong/Malaysia

Job Title:  VP – Global Markets/ Merchant Banking – IT Audit Manager

Key Accountabilities

• To maintain a working relationship with senior management in the Financial Markets, Group Technology & Operations (GTO) to develop a deep understanding of strategy, plans, products, performance, risk and issues.
• To provide expert audit advice and ad hoc value added services to stakeholders as deemed appropriate from time to time.
• To develop a robust risk assessments process and oversee its implementation.
• To work with Functional teams in Financial Markets Audit and IT Audit to formulate robust and flexible Audit Strategic Plan.
• To be responsible for the rigor of the audit plan, in terms of the balance of business and professional input and its flexibility to cope with changing risk profiles. To ensure that audit delivery and rating comply with Group standards across the area of responsibility. 
• To review all audits reports for the area of responsibility to ensure consistent quality and timeliness.
• To ensure audit issues are appropriately tracked and followed up.
• To identify and escalate significant issues to wider audience.
• To facilitate best practice transfer both internally within the audit teams and externally to the business communities.  
• To provide technical coaching and guidance to auditors and guests.
• To manage small, professional audit teams in the field when undertaking role of Team Leader.
