Our client is a European Corporate Bank looking for a senior Credit Analyst to focus on a cross sector portfolio (oil and gas, utilities, automotive and/or engineering, chemicals, consumer products).

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• All candidates applying MUST have a strong working knowledge of credit within a corporate bank with a focus on any one of the following sectors: oil and gas, utilities, automotive and/or engineering, chemicals, consumer products.

• All Candidates must have strong Experience of working within the UK.

• Perform credit analysis of mid to large corporates with a  Geographic coverage including all major Western European countries (except Italy) and Eastern European Emerging Markets. 

• Successful candidates will be required and capable of writing and presenting credit papers to comittee and be used to working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

• A solid understanding of financial products (capital markets and syndicated loan products) and their relevant features is a further requirement as is experience in loan documentation (LMA – standard documentation).

  

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Detailed and in-depth review of the company’s historical operating results and financial position, a forecast of the P&L, cash flow and balance sheet.

• Detailed and in-depth description of the company’s business and activities.

• An analysis of the industry and the company’s position versus its competitors and peers.  Analysis of key/relevant features of sector and relevant trends and/or regulatory issues.

• A summary of the nature of the credit line request, including all relevant terms and conditions and analysis of security, structure, and/or guarantee package.
