The Chief Investment Office is a profitable business unit reporting directly to the CEO of JPMorgan Chase that has the following mandates: Qualifications
- 5 to 10 years working experience in Middle Office/Operation preferable.
- Experience in project management will be advantage
- Previous exposure to derivative products preferable.
- Accounting knowledge preferred.
- Analytic mind and strong intuitions required.
- A good team player with professional attitude.
- Knowledge of MS VBA would be an asset

- Structural Interest Rate Risk Management - manage the structural interest rate risk of the firm created by other Line of Business units and management the investment typed securities.
- Home Finance Mortgage Servicing Rights Hedging (US only) - manage the hedging of interest rate and prepayment risks in MSR asset.
- Foreign Exchange Hedging - manage the hedging of Firms' exposure to foreign exchange revaluation of non USD revenues, expenses and capital.
- Other Corporate Investments and Obligations (US only) - covers Corporate/Bank Owned Life Insurance, Pension and Retirment Plans, and Private Equity.
- Business Advisory - advising Line of Business on their own investment strategies.
- Proprietary Trading Decisions
Job Descriptions:
- Supporting and Delivering Strategic and Tactical Projects for CIO middle office working closely with Front Office, Technology, Finance and other Operational teams.
- Ownership and delivery of specific project and coordination of input from Middle Office
- Implement the middle office workflow and model for CIO New Business initiative
- Participate in UAT checkout and discussion group with project working group
- Understand end-to-end process of transaction lifecycle to ensure the impact of changes are understood upstream and downstream
- Enhance existing control and processing framework in partnership with technology and middle office teams.
- Escalation of any issues in a clear and timely manner to Manager and project governance forums.
