The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Investor Relations, a proven Investor Relations or financial background is essential and you will possess the ability and confidence to be able to coordinate a full Investor Relations programme.
Overview of Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the Head of IR and Senior Management, to promote the understanding of the Company’s performance and prospects to the financial capital markets
• Maintain day to day contact with the City, dealing with enquiries and assisting with analysis;
• Manage and plan all aspects of investor roadshows in conjunction with the house brokers; filter meeting requests
• Initiate, plan, organise and attend analyst/investor events
• Produce and develop investor communications and presentation materials; prepare company press releases, results announcements and operational updates
• Draft and compile slides for results presentations, investor and company presentations at industry conferences. Screen external presentations given by other parts of the business
• Oversee the maintenance and analysis of the share register; prepare monthly reports identifying share ownership trends; implement investor targeting strategy
• Review broker research and models, providing brokers with feedback and ensure that broker opinion is noted
• Maintain awareness of the views of analysts, shareholders and potential investors and communicate the information internally. Keep senior management informed of important developments in the City and related policy/regulation
• Monitor peer group activity and industry best practice; contribute new ideas to the running of the Investor Relations team
• Assist in the production of the annual report; contribute to content where necessary
• Assist with day to day management and maintenance of the corporate website
Candidate Specification:
• A strong analytical and numeric background - CFA/ACA/Corporate Finance qualification advantageous
• Financially and commercially literate demonstrating strong numerical and oral communication skills; excellent written and presentation skills
• Strong IT skills (Excel and Power Point)
• The ability to liaise with senior management and establish and build strong relationships inside the company as well as with the investment community
• Demonstrate an exceptional level of attention to detail
• A sound understanding of the financial capital markets
