Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated, data-savvy individual with experience analyzing, and interpreting real estate market fundamentals. The primary responsibilities of the analyst is to monitor the real estate property markets and how they pertain to our real estate portfolios.
The Research Analyst is responsible for performing real estate market research to support the firm in its investment strategies, acquisitions, portfolio, property management, and property sales programs. Conduct real estate market analysis, which focuses on real estate, economic and demographic trends and write overviews that summarize the results of this research. The analyst will also assist in developing models to predict the various influences on real estate performance such as submarket forecasting and portfolio attribution models.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of one-year of experience in real estate property market, financial or economic analysis with strong analytical and computer skills. Must have a Degree in Real Estate, Economics, Geography or related field. Skilled at creative problem solving and deductive reasoning. A strong knowledge of the Windows environment and Microsoft products including Excel and Access is also necessary. Knowledge of EViews, S-Plus, Arc-View, SQL and/or Visual Basic skills are a plus. Must also possess excellent verbal and written communication as well as analytical skills.
