Immediate 12 month fixed term contract for a Project Manager to work within this structured PMO. Varied projects, business & technically diverse - financial accounting projects. Salary & bonus package on offer.

This is an opportunity for a Project Manager to work with a leading Australia financial institution on a financial accounting, standards & systems project initiative.

Working within a PMO, you will be required to provide expertise in managing tasks, plans, budgets and issues across multiple projects. You will be responsible for the complete project life cycle and have input into stakeholder management and liaising with the steering committee.

This exceptional opportunity will require the following skills:

• 3-5 years Project Management experience ideally within a PMO.
• Minimum of 5+ years deploying complex systems, solutions and project delivery
• Knowledge of accounting practices, financial statements would be highly regarded
• Strong project governance knowledge: Risk, Issue & Change management experience
• Ideally have managed a variety of business & technology driven projects, with finance and accounting knowledge an added advantage
• Matrix management capabilities utilising multiple resources across the organisation
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills

This role offers a 12 month fixed term contract with a salary package to $130,000 for the right candidate
