My client is looking for an energy broker with knowlegde of the dutch energy business, either gas or electricity, sales experience and with documented results.

My client was established in 1991 as the first independent energy brokerage house in an energy market new and unique worldwide. As the international energy markets deregulates, we aim to offer our services in these markets. At the start of 2008, The company had offices in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, France and the UK. They have 150 employees and the head office is located in Bergen. The responsibilities for the position are:

• Actively visit new and existing customers to sell their services within brokerage, portfolio management and administrative services
• Understand their customers business in order to find solutions to meet  their total need in the energy field
• Develop pan-European customers

In order to succeed you will need:

• Business understanding and sales experience with documented results
• Knowing the Dutch energy business, either gas or electricity.
• Higher financial/technical education
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written (Dutch), also in English
• You have to be a forceful self-starter with a strong commercial ability
