The role is for a Fund of Hedge Funds Junior Analyst working closely with other Analysts. This is a key role in a small team within an entrepreneurial environment – the successful candidate will therefore be able to demonstrate self-initiative, strong communication skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team. In return, you will be offered an opportunity to gain valuable exposure to hedge funds.

Reporting to the Hedge Fund Senior Strategist, your main responsibilities will be the following:

• Track various industry sources to screen for and obtain information regarding hedge funds.
• Arrange and attend calls/meetings with hedge fund managers, and assist with writing reports on hedge funds.
• Develop and maintain databases on hedge funds and market data.
• Perform fund and portfolio analytics.
• Develop relationships with Prime Broker teams at investment banks to remain informed about industry developments and new fund launches.                 

What sort of profile are we looking for:

• Currently nearing completion of a business-related degree,  majoring in Finance
• Basic knowledge of financial markets
• Familiar with Microsoft Office tools (i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Fluent in English
