Based in Bangkok, this is a great chance to cover market risk exposure for all our Global Markets trading activities.

As part of this challenging and stimulating role, you will identify, analyse and evaluate risk, undertake daily analysis, and communicate your findings to senior management. You will also determine limits, and handle complex transactions and in-depth models, pricing perspectives, calculus and statistics. Change management, and P&L and risk reporting also form part of your job description.

Ideally, you have 3-5 years’ of market risk management experience in a similar capacity. Add your superior analytical and communication skills, excellent grasp of complex derivatives, and good spreadsheet skills. You will also need a team ethic, the ability to establish strong working relationships, a flair for quantitative analysis, and a firm understanding of global markets debt and equities instruments.

You know how to co-ordinate change, and have good interpersonal skills. Solid market valuation experience, the ability to engage with the business at a senior level, and the capacity to advise on transactional elements will ensure success. A background in mathematics, physics and financial engineering, the proven ability to deal with regulators, and familiarity with market risk capital charge calculation, will make you a real contender.
