We are currently recruiting for a leading New York-based private investment firm focused on media and communications sectors globally. Founded in 2000, the firm manages over $6 billion in assets. We seek a first-class Associate to join their European private equity team, based in London.

The firm is currently investing its second, $2bn global fund. The team has completed over 20 investments in the United States and Europe with a broad equity investment range of $100m to $300m per transaction.

The Associate role will offer exposure to all aspects of private equity, and will involve analysis on potential investments, support in deal structuring and execution and negotiation. Associates also participate fully in portfolio management and realization work. Deal teams consist of 3-4 investment professionals, providing ample opportunity for the Associate to take on substantial responsibility.

The ideal candidate will be an outgoing and intelligent individual, with strong analytical and financial skills gained within either the M&A or leveraged finance divisions of a top tier global investment bank. The successful individual will have an outstanding academic profile, preferably with a first-class quantitative degree from a premier institution. Media and telecoms sector exposure would be advantageous but is not essential.
