The Client

The client is a major renowned and global player in the chemical and petroleum industry and they are now looking for a dynamic tax professional to join them as their Country Tax Manager.

The Position

Leading an experienced team, you will be responsible for managing the overall Tax Function for the group of companies in Singapore, including overall responsibility for compliance, tax planning and optimization, and external representation in all areas of tax, including managing the organizational and personnel features related to the Function. You will provide tax advice and support for all major business transactions and projects, and to help maximize tax savings across all relevant tax jurisdictions and for all projects and transactions. You are also to formulate and implement policies, guidelines, controls and procedures for tax, finance and business staff to ensure that business operations are conducted efficiently.

The Candidate

You must have minimum 15 years of tax experience within a MNC or the Big 4 professional tax practice with strong knowledge of Singapore taxation. You are degree qualified and able to work in a demanding and fast paced environment and to prioritize and multi-task. You must also be a good team player and possess strong communication skills.
