Fixed Income Specialists handle and execute orders in a timely and accurate manner, ensure that offerings are replenished and available as soon as possible to Scottrade customers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Trade Corporate, Municipal, US Treasury bonds, Government Sponsored Enterprises, & Medium Term Notes
   
• Trade secondary CDs and Medium-term notes
   
• Respond to bid wanted requests from branches to sell customer positions and calculate the mark-down
   
• Respond to various branch requests for information
   
• Report trades as needed to TRACE/RTTM
   
• Monitor RTTM and TRACE reporting
   
• Track, research, and correct trade reporting
   
• Intermediary with P&S and Stock Records
   
• Research bond transfers and certificates for ACATS and Stock Receipt
   
• Assist in solving problems & correcting trade issues
   
• Trade and research using all functions of the Bloomberg Institutional Terminal
   
• Secondary Responsibilities:
  
  
  
  • New Issue CD Trading
     
  • Maintaining new issue CD offerings
     
  • Other project/duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• A current series 7 & 63 license
   
• 1 to 3 years of brokerage experience required, all or most of this experience in Fixed Income preferred
   
• 1 to 3 years of customer service experience preferred
   
• Clean U4 securities record

EDUCATION:

Bachelor degree in Finance or Business or related field or equivalent experience preferred
