Exemplary presentation skills, exceptional analytical ability and some Institutional client relationship experience are vital to your success.
As a Senior Investment Analyst, you will:
- Evaluate funds and the performance of financial markets and portfolios.
- Analyze market and economic data and create presentations for internal and external distribution.
- Evaluate and present multiple investment styles across asset classes in an in-depth and objective manner.
- Provide documented analysis of Vanguard's funds, advisors and markets, and tailor discussions of their performance with various audiences.
- Work with business units to understand client needs; ensure that methodologies are appropriate for the client segment and client portfolio.
- Deliver well prepared and articulate presentations to various clients.
- Write concise and insightful commentary on fund performance.
- Serve as a resource to those looking for extensive analysis or explanations of fund performance.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and experience; MBA and/or CFA preferred.
- Minimum of ten years of experience, including three to five years of investment-related experience with a concentration in portfolio management or analysis.
- Highly developed analytical skills, including the ability to use and interpret portfolio analytics.
- Excellent communication, consultation and client management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn and work with department-specific analytic tools.
- Ability to travel.
