As an Associate you will provide a high level of deal support to the Directors and Associate Directors in the origination, execution and development and management of potential transactions.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
• Researching micro and macro issues surrounding transaction;
• Construct financial models allowing for assessment of multiple leverage scenarios and sensitivity analysis of transactions;
• Prepare transaction documentation including LOI's, placement memorandums, detailed term sheets, etc.;
• Create client presentations and marketing materials for investors
• Liaising with internal parties (in-house counsel, financial controller, investment committee) to ensure all internal investment processes and approvals are in place;
• Liaising with external parties (legal advisors, bank counterparties, and clients) to ensure transaction is on track during execution phase;
• Ad hoc duties as delegated by team leader.
• You will have excellent academic qualifications gained from leading institutions. An MBA from a top business school is preferred.
• You will have corporate finance and M&A experience gained within a leading investment bank, private equity house or the corporate finance department of a Big 4 accountancy firm.
• You will have significant experience in supporting senior team members in evaluating, structuring, financing and marketing transactions.
• You will also have strong analytical and commercial acumen, with proven financial modelling and research skills, and the ability and desire to work within a small deal team and gain exposure to senior industry professionals.
