Head of Confirmations required to manage the issue, receipt and matching of all confirmations for Capital Market products traded in London. Range of products include FX, NDF, FX Options, IRS, Money Market, Commodities (precious metals, base metals, oil, US gas, emissions, softs),and Global Islamic Banking.

Team management and development of both team leaders and team members. Ability to deal with staffing issues as they arise and in accordance with HR / Legal guidelines.

To conduct / organise continual reviews of the existing process and infrastructure to ensure that the optimum level of control is identified and implemented.

Follow up with Inspection Generale / Audit issues

Update, maintenance and enforcement of internal procedures.

Identification of process / system limitations and coordination of enhancements to attain maximum levels of autonomy.

To build and maintain relationships with clients and all Capital Market front offices

Escalation of critical issues to senior management in a timely manner

Management of a team of 15 to 20 people in charge of:- Global Islamic Finance Process

- SWIFT Confirmations (TRAM eligible)

- FX Options / Structures (Long form)

- Commodities Confirmations (second step)

Compilation and distribution of various statistics for inclusion in management reporting.
