Our client, an international fund administration firm with offices worldwide is seeking a Manager, Fund Valuations to work in their Toronto office. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well established company with an international client based that is rapidly expanding.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
• Manage ongoing operations of the fund valuation groups as a member of the management team
• Improve productivity and efficiency of processes and procedures in delivery of client commitments
• Ensure resources are appropriately managed to deal with increase or decrease in number of funds.
• Ensure all new employees hired for new business or regular turnover are appropriately trained and guided.
• Decision-making and accountability for department, group, staff and initiatives
• Develop and manage the process of all daily, weekly and monthly fund valuations
Knowledge/Skill Requirements:
• Minimum 5 to 7 years fund accounting experience with at least 3 years of supervisory experience
• Investment accounting experience, working knowledge of GAAP
• Business degree or 7 or more years related experience
• Strong Securities experience preferred
• Enrolment in CGA/CMA/CFA or other recognized accredited program an asset
• Successful completion of the CSC an asset
