Our client is a leading M&A franchise both in London and on a global scale which is looking to expand its resources due to a strong pipeline. The client has gone from strength to strength in its 15 year history. The bank now offers a full service function to its clients and has been involved in numerous M&A transactions both this and last year. The bank is well respected, has a solid platform and provides a first rate service to it’s clients meaning a high degree of repeat business.

The London team now seeks at least two individuals to join the expanding group. These will ideally be junior analysts with a strong background in finance ideally from another Investment Bank. The analysts will undertake a classic role doing modelling and execution work, marketing and pitching for new business and attending client meetings and developing relationships with clients moving forward.

The individuals can also expect a more entrepreneurial environment than a tier one house where they will be able to take on responsibility to a greater degree from an earlier time. Our client also likes to focus on training and developing it’s employees as an ongoing scheme.

Requirements:

• One to two years M&A experience from a strong mid to large investment bank
• A proven track record of successful (closed) transactions is mandatory
• Strong DCF technical and modelling skills
• A good education is also crucial from a leading university.
• A second fluent language is a great benefit but not compulsory.
