Our client is a prestigious professional services firm head quartered in New York. The Actuarial consulting division is the fastest developing practices within the group. Due to tremendous growth our client is looking for an able leader to build the practice in Mainland China.

Position: Actuarial Director (Executive Management Position) 
  
Location: Beijing, Mainland China
 
 Minimum Requirements

Master degree either in Actuarial studies, Mathematics or Audit

Fellow of the Society of Actuaries

Circa 15 years', experience, of which 8 years in a managerial level with either a global life insurer or an actuarial consulting firm

Proven track record in building and managing a profit center

Broad knowledge and experience in Actuarial technical work

Life Insurance experience in pricing, ALM and valuation

Experience and in-depth knowledge of the Prophet System Software

Language Proficiency, English is a must, Spoken and Written Mandarin would be advantageous 


Core Responsibilities

Direct report to the Practice Leader based in Hong Kong 

Responsible for building and managing  the actuarial consulting practice in Mainland China 

Responsible to recruit new hires as per the demand and growth of the business 

Build & manage the P&L, achieve targets and strategic responsibility to lead the company towards growth and future expansion
