Responsible for managing the technology relationship with back-office management and develop a global technology strategy including the definition, resourcing, and implementation of technology projects. Responsible for the integration of the corporate actions, reconciliation, settlement, and accounting for mutual funds and separate accounts systems.

Responsibilities
Develop a global technology strategy that incorporates the critical vendors and in-house applications and leverage enterprise architecture and tools. 

Ensure successful integration of critical vendors supporting the strategic direction and manage the alignment of systems.

Manage the delivery of multiple, highly complex IT initiatives that directly support Operations. 

Manage the delivery of on time, accurate and quality data to offices outside the United States in support of Trading and Client Services.

Responsible for overseeing the development budget as well as vendor relationships.

Drive continuous improvement of business processes and business results based on the enterprise
 

Qualifications

Requires an influential, collabrative and smart technologist who has the ability to succeed in a team oriented environment. The ideal candidate possesses strong relationship and leadership skills combined with the ability to work effectively across multiple busniesses and functions as well as with vendors. Should have a background working with product specific post-trade technology systems within a buy-side, sell-side or service provider organization.

  • Mid and back office functional knowledge
  • Technology management, development and software integration experience
  • Has managed teams of 20+
  • Blend of strategic thought leadership and daily execution
  • 10+ years IT expereince within Financial Services
  • Demonstrated experience in translating business strategy into technical strategy
  • Has successfully led large scale, complex global technology projects
  • Has managed technology vendors
  • Full life cycle software development experience required
  • Demonstated ability to influence and impac the business
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships
