You will have
• Responsibilities to respond to calls for assistance from business application users and 1st level support
• Key tasks such as logging and 2nd level investigation of issues raised, escalation of issues to 3rd line support where appropriate
• Close working relationship and communication regarding issues between both business and IT
• Additional tasks to provide training to new team members and users
You have
• Previous experience of providing support within a high pressure financial environment
• Good knowledge of trading business procedures, processes and applications
• Good knowledge of financial products (structured products as an advantage)
• Good knowledge of Unix, Windows XP, Sybase and SQL
• High self-motivation, prioritisation, organizational and problem solving skills
• Capability of working independently with limited supervision
• Ability to function well in high pressure environments
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, German would be an advantage
