THE COMPANY

Our client is a leading international hedge fund of funds group, dedicated to maximising hedge fund opportunities and rewards for its global institutional client base, which includes market leaders in insurance, pension funds, asset management and banking.

The Group has experienced considerable international expansion and has over 200 employees globally with offices in the world's key financial centres.

They currently manages $13.0 billion, making it one of the largest hedge funds in the world.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As a result of this considerable expansion, they currently have a very exciting opportunity to join their finance team.

Working very closely with the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for the entire group reporting function (which, in turn, is responsible for providing senior management with regular consolidated information for internal use, and also meeting the group's external reporting requirements).

On top of this you will be responsible for the Group's budgeting and forecasting requirements.

YOUR PROFILE

You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with experience of managing a consolidated group reporting function.

Financial Services experience (ideally Asset Management) would be a distinct advantage, but those looking to break into the world of Hedge Funds, with the requisite group reporting skills, will also be considered.

You will possess a sound knowledge of UK GAAP and have very strong Excel skills (with the ability to write Macros) - CODA would also be considered an advantage.

The role will require you to interact with other offices globally so very strong communication and interpersonal skills will also be pre-requisites.
