The Trade Specialist will coordinate the confirmation and notification of all asset classes traded by Standish Mellon including: fixed income, currency and derivative transactions. This position will also analyze and resolve any pre-settlement inquiries or problems effecting timely and accurate settlement. In addition, the incumbent will manage communication with internal trading desk and broker/dealers to resolve any problems effecting contractual settlement. Ideal requirements: 2 or more years of related industry experience. An understanding of the fixed income investment process. Proficiency in Excel and Access a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented and a team player.
