Involoved in significant transactions, the establishment of new investment vehicles and funds - Experience in Financial Industry is Required
    Responsibilities:
  • Reporting to Head of Legal, Asia and the country business head, the incumbent will directly be involved in significant transactions, the establishment of new investment vehicles and funds (Including listed and wholesale REIT’s) as well as major opportunistic property acquisitions, financing and development transactions
  • Using their technical legal knowledge, the incumbent will also assist in the prudent on-going management of fund products
  • These opportunities will require He/She to work closely with internal and external stakeholders such as joint-venture partners, clients, legal and regulatory groups
  • This position will allow the incumbent to experience in forging strong relationships with key business executives and the ability to build relationships at all levels

    Requirements:
  • Hold appropriate tertiary qualifications
  • Have experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and funds management and/or exposure to fund or Institutional Investment in real estate, construction or development transactions in a senior capacity
  • Be confident negotiating, drafting and settling complex legal agreements and preparing offer documents
  • Think commercially and thrive in a fast-paced business environment
  • Display exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Japanese
  • Be a team player and contributor
