Our client is a rapidly growing investment management company who specialise in the environmental, utilities and energy sectors. Its Private Equity Fund targets acquisitions and private equity investments in highly-levered power generation assets and related companies in the renewable energy sector predominantly in Western Europe and North America. It is looking to appoint an Investment Director to take a lead role in the lifecycle of an transaction by; sourcing, evaluating, executing and managing investments. You will also be involved in new fund raisings and mentoring junior members of the team. Applicants will need to demonstrate significant Private Equity or related investment experience.

Candidates must have the following skills and experience:

• A demonstrable background in private equity, M&A utility teams, and infrastructure funds.
• Candidates must have taken a lead role and completed a minimum of three transactions
• Specific experience in the renewable energy sector would be beneficial but not essential
• The preferred candidate is likely to have proven mergers & acquisitions experience, preferably in the electric utility sector
• Experience in Continental Europe and fluency in one or more Continental European language is preferred although not essential.

Compensation would be in line with market expectations
