London-based boutique investment bank with activities spanning investment banking, merchant banking, specialist hedge funds and property investment management require two experienced Investment Bankers at either Senior Associate or Vice-President level.

My client is a dynamic, highly entrepreneurial London-based boutique investment bank. It's activities span investment banking, merchant banking, specialist hedge funds and property investment management, operating both in the UK and internationally. They have grown rapidly since they were established 6 years ago and have a team comprised of highly successful professionals who have held senior positions at bulge-bracket banks and major financial institutions.

This position represents an opportunity for a motivated professional to work in both advisory and principal investments across a wide range of products.

As an Associate/VP, you will quickly become an integral member of the team and be responsible for everything from the details in a financial model to participating in assessing the highest level strategic implications being recommended to a client in conjunction with the Partners and Directors.

Your role will involve interacting directly with clients and working with sector specialists in their firm, supervising associates and working closely with the Partners and Directors.

You will assist in sourcing and executing business across a diverse range of opportunities including public and private capital raisings, M&A, structured private equity deals, IPOs, corporate broking, their specialist hedge funds and property investment management business. You will be given the tools needed for professional growth and career advancement and develop product-specific and function-specific skills. In addition you will benefit by having direct access to clients and broader deal responsibility much greater than is typical at larger institutions.

The successful applicant will have at least 4 years experience in a leading Investment Bank, Private Equity or Professional Services firm and be looking to make a move to a more dynamic, less hierarchical environment.

You will also possess exceptional analytical, financial modelling and accounting capabilities combined with first-class communication skills.
