A great opportunity for a hands-on Java Technical Leader with solid banking background to join one of the most successful investment banks in the world. You will join the Capital Markets Technology team which is responsible for development and support of various systems used by the Equities, FI and Investment Banking Divisions to manage Initial Public Offerings. The team is closely aligned to the business units it supports having considerable interaction with front-office Traders and sales professionals, middle-office functions and back-office Operations staff. We are looking for candidates with solid server-side Java and web-based front-ends. The candidate will be expected to drive and manage multiple projects with global and regional impact. You will be responsible for the team of 10 developers but you will still remain hands-on (circa 30% of your time). Good working knowledge of SQL, UNIX and OO would be a benefit.
