The TMG (Transaction Management Group) group is a newly formed team comprised of what was previously the Middle Office group within Operations and Finance. Candidate would be able to handle many projects at one time. Candidate would have the ability to work quickly and efficiently and function well under pressure. Potential candidates should have: • Preferably 2-3 years experience in Sales Assistant or similar support role (Trade Support, Operations, etc.), BS/BA from a 4 year University required. Series 7/63, a plus but not required. • Product knowledge (Equity Products including but not limited to: Listed Equity Derivatives, OTC Equity Derivatives, Equity Swaps, Structured Products, Credit Default Swaps). • Understanding of trade life cycle from execution to settlement. • Superior computer skills. MS EXCEL, WORD, Lotus Notes, Access. ALERT/OMGEO, ADP. • Understanding of KYC/AML helpful. • Excellent research skills • Knowledge of settlements for various products • Working knowledge of trade input systems • The ability to learn new systems quickly • Degree Level educated • Increase market exposure and understand equity trading instruments • Analysis and problem solving skills • Develop credibility, good reputation and integrity with clients and colleagues. • Strong team player • Flexible and Committed • Strong and effective communications skills • Ability to work well under pressure and work to tight deadlines.
